Targeted Interventions
I specialise in designing targeted interventions that address specific behavioural challenges within the classroom. My interventions are based on the principle that focusing on a small set of high-impact behaviours can lead to significant improvements.
I work with teachers to identify the 20% of behaviours that contribute to 80% of classroom disruptions and guide them in implementing manageable, effective strategies. These interventions are tailored to each classroom's unique dynamics, helping teachers create a positive and structured environment that encourages students to take accountability for their behaviour.
What does a typical engagement look like?
My typical engagement is one day a week for a full term, working on-site with the school. During each visit I combine classroom observations, one-to-one coaching sessions, and group workshops depending on the school's priorities. The structure is flexible and tailored to the needs of the department or leadership team.

This service is designed for maths teachers, heads of department, and senior leaders who want structured, practical support to improve teaching and learning within their school.
Most engagements run for one full term (approximately 12 weeks), with one visit per week. Longer or shorter arrangements can be discussed depending on the school's needs.
Both. I can provide one-to-one coaching for individual teachers, or work with an entire department on shared goals such as behaviour management, curriculum planning, or pedagogical development.
The coaching and observation work is most effective in person. However, follow-up sessions, planning meetings, and some mentoring can be done remotely via video call.
